Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. The actress also worked for as a member of the SSC as the producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director and coach for text in addition to serving as Artistic Director. Though she typically led inside her ensemble of actors but in the final year alongside SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
